In 1981, CMIC successfully won the contract for the Gudu Thermal Power Station Unit No.4 (210MW) in Pakistan, which was the first large-scale thermal power generation equipment made in China to enter the international market. The Cane-Sugar Complete Plant for Wang Kanai Sugar Co., Ltd., Thailand with an 8,000-ton sugarcane daily processing capacity built by CMIC was the first large-scale complete set of sugar-making equipment exported from China to the world. CMIC successfully completed the offshore procurement and service contract for Pakistan Sahiwal 2×660MW coal-fired power plant project with excellent performance and won high recognition, which was praised by both Chinese and Pakistani governments as “Sahiwal Speed”. With its professional technical advantages and advanced project management capabilities, CMIC has achieved regional rolling development in Cambodia’s market, continuously undertaking and implementing projects such as the Development of Grid Substation and Transmission Line Project in Sihanouk Ville and EPCC of the Development of 230 KV Rattanakiri - Tbong Khmum Transmission Line Project.
