Dr. Praing Chulasa, DMD of EDC inspecting 115kV GIS room

In the afternoon of December 10th, Dr. Praing Chulasa, Deputy Managing Director of Electricite du Cambodge (EDC), visited the GIS2 and GIS3 substation construction sites of the Development of Grid Substation and Transmission Line Project in Sihanouk Ville (Sihanoukville Project) to inspect and guide the work. Project deputy manager Ms. Bai Qinyuan and other personnel accompanied the inspection.

Dr. Chulasa pointed out that despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and the external environment, the joint project team of CMIC and CHMC in Sihanoukville had achieved remarkable results. He expressed his confidence that the two newly constructed GIS substations would be operational by the end of January next year and was satisfied with the overall progress of the project.

On the morning of the same day, Director of Transmission Department of EDC, Mr. Kong Puthy and his team also inspected the GIS3 and GIS2 substation sites of the Sihanoukville Project. They expressed their appreciation for the progress and quality of the project, and for the efforts made by the project team in ensuring its successful completion.
